Tried a nice recipe but i’ve lost the recipe. :X oh well, but its pretty darn tasty!

The first entire was so much of a rush that i didn’t give an introduction about myself. I’m a girl, 18 years of age, currently taking a diploma in Pharmacy Science and am crazy about baking. I got influnced from baking by my sister. However, her interest wear off pretty quickly but i got hooked to it. So here am I, writing this blog, hoping that i could share my interest of baking with everyone. But please pardon my photography skills. I  do not have a DSLR and ain’t a good photography. I know nuts about lighting and position of the food.

Anyway, previously, i’ve tried a recipe from 17andbaking, which is is buttermilk pound cake. The pound cake was really rich and buttery. However, it was on the sweet side. I will probably reduce the amount of sugar next time i do it again. However, this treat can only be taken once in a while due to the amount of butter in it! HAHA!!

This month’s challenge is Traditional Kuih. Just so coincidently, i’ve always wanted to make Kuih Seri Muka with this wonderful recipe i’ve found. This is my first attempt in making Kuih. Judging from the photos, it may not look good, but it sure tasted wonderful. However, I’ll try other recipes out there when i’ve got the time.

Some parts of the cusard layer swelled up during steaming. Not very pretty looking, isn’t it?
